Color rojo violeta intenso, en nariz presenta aromas a frutas rojas como cereza, leve toque de cacao, vainilla, y a especies como clavo de olor, mentol. El Carignan aporta interesante acidez, equilibrada, con estructura media predominando los frutos rojos y notas florales.
